Amazing family. They are really nice people and they made me feel at home. Ken and Val are an amazing couple and I loved being with them. The food is also too good.

My stay with Valerie was short, but the experience was a five star. She is such a lovely person, real Irish mammy, you just feel so homely at her place. The room I stayed in was quite small but I only needed bed, I did not mind. Food was lovely! The house is generally really pretty and modern in a quiet neighborhood, no problem to park.
Really friendly host, would recommend it to anyone!September 2016
It was a fantastic experience
The neiborhod is beauthifull, very serene and safe. It is very green too, plenty of grass fields and kids playin on them. You can see Dublin mountains too. There is a bus which stops just in the city centre so you could visit it easily.
The food is so delicious, you never gonna be hungry an Valeries.
I have left the best for the end... Valerie is very very very lovely and she has a wonderful family too. You will realy feel at home. They are going to help you and treat you as if you where part of it.
I had an incredible time there and strongly recomend you to meet them!

I am an italian student of 24 years old. I came in Dublin to spend two weeks on Holiday on my own. I stayed in Valerie's home and I have to say that Valerie, Ken and their two sons are the best family I could have found in Dublin; their house is situated in a very beautifull and characteristic irish village (Prospect Manor) near the city center (for me this was very good also because made me able to see a different side of Dublin that everyone should visit). The family lives in a very nice house; Valerie and her husband Ken prepares amazing irish meals (dinner and breakfast are included in the price) and keep their house vey clean; they give me also the Keys of the house so that I could go out and come back home when I wanted; then they give me also the possibility to clean my clothes. At the end I give an example to show how much nice they are: I came there without a smartphone, pc or tablet (I hate tecnology but in this case I needed it) and they gave me their i-pad to use when I needed it. So: beautiful village, beautiful house, very very nice, kind, open and helpful family, amazing food; in other words if you want to feel like at home in Dublin I suggest you very much to come in Valerie's house.
