I live in a townhouse in Dublin 4 and have converted the attic into a bedroom and this is where you will stay. We will share the bathroom and obviously the kitchen. I work full time, sometimes from home and I go to the gym so I'm out of the house quite a lot.
Ballsbridge is one of the nicest places to live in Dublin with the city centre only a 20 minute walk away. There is also a lot of public transport options near by, including our local train service and buses.
Guest access:
Guests will have access to our kitchen at appropriate times during the day eg breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Interaction with guests:
We are happy to share our knowledge of Dublin with our guests. We've lived in Dublin most of our lives and know all the great places to go in the city and countryside. Once we establish what you need, we can point you in all the right directions re: site seeing spots, restaurants, pubs, clubs, shopping areas, cinemas, or even best places to go hiking.

Clodagh is an amazing host - considerate, cultured, kind and reliable. She has the tactful ability of making you feel like you are part of the family while also allowing as much freedom and privacy as one may need. I could not have asked for a better host!

I liked the location, the quiet and safe village, and the warm and pleasant room. The host family is kind, thoughtful, gentle people and dogs and cats are very kind and cute. I felt like I had a house in Dublin during staying for a month! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and free from any restrictions.

I had a wonderful time with Clodagh and her daughter : they are very warm, welcoming people, ready to give you any advice on Dublin's many attractions ! Clodagh introduced me to her friends and I remember the long, deep talks we had during dinner.
I also loved sharing the house with their affectionate dog and cat, who are truly part of the family.
I would highly recommend the stay in her beautiful, cosy house.March 2019

Clodagh is a fantastic host who offered me useful advice and directions on what to do and how to move in Dublin. Her house is in a quite central area, well connected by buses to the city center, which can be reached with a short walk.
I have had delightful evenings in her lovely house with her nice daughter Rubi, her little dog and her cat. She also introduced me to friendly friends.
Definitely advisable!
