Welcoming, you to fresh and newly decorated single bedroom available in a quite family home. Our home is situated on multiple bus routes to the City Centre and is 5 minutes walk from Dublin City University.
We are a warm and caring family who enjoy exchanging stories and sharing cultural experiences. We would like to host someone quiet and friendly and who is here to study in a safe and peaceful environment. We enjoy engaging with our guests and also respect our guests privacy.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities and times are flexible and can be co-ordinated with the family.
Note
Guest parking is available. We have laundry facilities and fresh air drying. Guests tend to outsource weekly laundry in the winter to a local laundry service provider.
Additional Info
There is a guest car park but not to be used on a permanent basis.
It would be appreciated if use of kitchen was organised as it is right next to the living area.

Set in a well-established and peaceful residential Dublin location. It is hard to believe such a peaceful area is so close to the city centre. Situated next to multiple bus routes that run to the city centre and within walking distances of many green spaces,
The National Botanical Gardens, canal greenways, parks and restaurants are a within walking from our home. We are happy to provide you with guidance on the best sites to visit in Ireland where you can enjoy beautiful scenery, absorb Irish culture and have a fun and safe experience.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house
Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you
Please do not place any adhesives on the furniture or on the walls of the house or place nails in the walls to hang pictures.
Please be absolutely careful with the doors with glass and close them gently as the windows are made of vintage glass.
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after!
Keep noise to a minimum after 9pm please
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home with an understanding that this is a busy working household and cooking times need to be agreed on with the host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 10% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
