Welcome to our large quirky townhouse in Cork city. Cork city has been voted by The Lonely Planet as one of the friendliest places in the world!
We (Jason and Sarina), live with our son Luke who is 25, daughter Elisha 15. Jasons main hobbies are cooking, photography and tropical fish keeping. Luke plays the guitar, sings, goes to the gym and enjoys gaming., Elisha enjoys baking, arts and crafts and gymnastics, playing board games and loves online gaming. Sarina enjoys painting and spends a lot of time volunteering with local charities.
We have been a full-time host family for over 9 years. Being a host family is a large part of our lifestyle. We enjoy meeting new people and fully welcoming and integrating our guests into our house, family and daily routine. We have welcomed guests from all over the world, and aim to make your stay with us one to remember.
Our house is over 300 years old and full of unique character. In the last 4 years, we have renovated a lot in our house so it is clean, new and welcoming. Our house is 3 stories with 5 bedrooms. We have a very cool basement living room with a wood burning stove and 5-foot tropical aquarium. This is where we spend much of our time. Our guest rooms are large with a double bed, tall ceilings and large windows. We have a very spacious city garden with lots of trees.
Blackpool is a mixed residential and retail area with a great sense of community. A bus service takes you to the city centre in 7 minutes, or you can walk in 15 minutes. A large number of shops, restaurants, bars, gym and facilities are extremely close by on foot.

I stayed with Sarina and Jason for 4 months during my erasmus. It was a pleasure to live with them, they always made sure I had everything I needed and were really kind with me!

The stay was excellent, very comforting and accommodating family. The house is equipped with all facilities plus garden and river flowing at the back of the house is an additional plus point. The nearest bus stand is 2 minutes walk from the house and Blackpool shopping center is 3 mins walk.
They will treat you as your own family member and are really caring people. The exit from the house was also very smooth.
Overall my stay was extremely comfortable and I will strongly recommend everyone looking for homestay to live here.May 2019

We can't really express how thankful we are. We would like to thank the entire family for being phenomenal hosts. They gave us a lot of information to help us stand on our feet. The house was very cosy, and it never felt like being in a strangers' home. It seemed as if we have already met before. We were very delighted to meet the entire family! Also a big shoutout to the cats! They were very cute, friendly and really made our days.
A great thank you from both of us once again!February 2019
