Guest – How to submit a review

The day after you leave your homestay, we will email you a link to review your homestay and rate it on a scale of 1 to 5. If you don’t have time to submit it immediately, don’t worry, we will send you a reminder a week later.

To complete the review simply click on the button “write your review” this will redirect you to the review page where you can give your heart rating and add your review details. This review will then be posted on the host's profile page.

If the guest review complies with our guidelines, we will typically publish it within a few days and notify you by email.

Host – How to leave a reply

Once your homestay has been reviewed by your guest, you will receive an email notification from Homestay.com with the details of your guest’s review and, if you like, you can reply to this review by clicking on the link in the email.

PLEASE NOTE: All Host replies will be published below the guest’s review and can be read by Homestay users and site visitors.

You can also reply to the review from within your homestay.com listing, here’s how.

  1. Log into your profile
  2. Click on Dashboard - All new reviews will appear here under Recent Reviews.
  3. To respond to your reviews, click on Reply to this guest's review.

 

Please ensure that you follow our review guidelines

For convenience you can also respond to reviews in the booking section.

  1. Click on Bookings
  2. Select “All bookings” from the drop down list.
  3. Any bookings where you have received a review you will be able to click the option "reply to guests review".

Once the review is eligible to be published as per our review guidelines, we will typically publish it within a few days.
